Bernie Sanders Unloads on Billionaires at ‘Fighting Oligarchy’ Rally

Bernie Sanders delivered a fiery keynote speech at the “Fighting Oligarchy” rally in Orono, Maine, blasting billionaires, corporate power, and economic inequality in America.

Joined by Maine candidates Graham Platner and Troy Jackson, Sanders called for a political revolution focused on workers’ rights, healthcare, affordable housing, and taxing the ultra-wealthy.

During the rally, Sanders argued that the top 1% controls enormous wealth and political influence while ordinary Americans struggle with wages, healthcare costs, and housing. He also criticized media concentration, the Citizens United ruling, and corporate influence over government.

The Vermont senator proposed a 5% annual wealth tax on billionaires and urged Americans to unite against what he described as an “oligarchic system” benefiting the rich at the expense of working families.
