Music Girly

Music has been my first love since I was a little girl—singin, dancin, and pickin up instruments came naturally. Later, I let the voices of others steer me away from my true passion. That detour caused me to break up with music…until God led me back by inspiring me through Bruno Mars’ performances and music.

Artists like Michael Jackson (my first inspiration & crush), EWF, Stevie Wonder, Prince, and the Voice, Whitney Houston continue to fuel my spark. Their music reminds me why I fell in love with it all in the first place.

During my darkest times—after losing my husband, my job, and more during the pandemic—music became my healing thanks to Bruno Mars (and I hope to tell him someday in person and jam with him too).
